Hysteroscopic Copper T (IUCD) Removal

This educational video demonstrates the hysteroscopic removal of misplaced and embedded Copper-T intrauterine devices using simple operative hysteroscopy techniques. Two representative cases are presented—one with a freely lying inverted IUCD and another with a partially embedded Copper-T requiring adhesiolysis. The video explains how to safely evaluate the position of the device, release embedded arms using hysteroscopic scissors, and retrieve the IUCD without excessive force. Practical tips are provided to avoid instrument damage, uterine injury, and incomplete removal. The procedure is simple, reproducible, and suitable for gynecologists familiar with basic operative hysteroscopy. It is an excellent learning resource for managing missing IUCD threads and difficult Copper-T removals.
