Hysteroscopic Polypectomy (NL0027)

This video demonstrates the office hysteroscopic removal of a small sessile endometrial polyp in a 38-year-old woman with primary infertility. Although the polyp is detected on ultrasound, it becomes difficult to visualize under high uterine distension pressure. The surgeon shows how reducing the saline pressure allows the lesion to protrude into the cavity, facilitating accurate identification. Using hysteroscopic scissors, the polyp is circumferentially detached from its base and then removed with a grasper. Throughout the procedure, practical tips are shared on maintaining visualization, changing the scope angle, and safely retrieving small intrauterine pathology. This is an excellent instructional video for office hysteroscopic polypectomy.
