Hysteroscopic Polypectomy Slicing Technique & Submucous Fibroid

This educational hysteroscopy video demonstrates the slicing technique for hysteroscopic removal of a large endometrial polyp in a woman with primary infertility. Using only cold hysteroscopic scissors and a 5 Fr hysteroscopic grasper, the surgeon avoids cervical dilatation while safely removing a polyp much larger than initially suspected. The video explains how vertical segmentation of the polyp allows easy extraction through a narrow cervical canal without a resectoscope. It also demonstrates proper use of the hysteroscopic grasper for atraumatic specimen retrieval under direct vision. An incidental intracervical fibrous band causing cervical stenosis is identified and treated during the same procedure. This is an excellent learning resource for gynecologists interested in office hysteroscopy and fertility-preserving minimally invasive surgery.
