Hysteroscopy - Cervical Stenosis - Failed ET

This video demonstrates the hysteroscopic evaluation and treatment of a patient with multiple failed embryo transfers during IVF. Although the uterine cavity appears normal, the surgeon identifies subtle abnormalities at the internal os that repeatedly deflect the embryo transfer catheter. Using an 18 Fr bipolar resectoscope, small overhanging fibrotic edges are carefully resected to create a straighter, unobstructed cervical canal. The procedure concludes with confirmation of easy catheter passage and temporary placement of a Foley catheter to maintain canal patency. This video provides valuable insights into diagnosing and treating difficult embryo transfer caused by cervical factors.
