Simple TLH Bipolar Shearer (NL0071)

This video demonstrates a systematic Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy with particular emphasis on efficient bipolar energy use, anatomical dissection and laparoscopic suturing.

The procedure begins with mobilization of the sigmoid colon, followed by identification of the infundibulopelvic ligament and anticipated course of the ureter.

The utero-ovarian ligaments and round ligaments are divided sequentially using a combined bipolar cutting and coagulating instrument.

The surgeon demonstrates development of the broad ligament planes and uterovesical fold, followed by careful bladder dissection and identification of the uterine arteries.

Both uterine arteries are coagulated and divided, with particular attention to adequate vascular sealing and avoiding unnecessary thermal damage.

Colpotomy is completed using the same instrument, followed by left oophorectomy and bilateral salpingectomy, with emphasis on complete tubal removal.

The procedure concludes with laparoscopic vaginal vault suturing, irrigation, hemostatic assessment and inspection of the remaining ovary, providing practical guidance on efficient and reproducible TLH technique.
