Vaginal Sprecimen Removal After TLH (NL0008)
This video demonstrates the lateral coring technique for vaginal extraction of a large uterus following Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH). The surgeon explains the principles of sequential coring using a "cut-and-push" method to progressively debulk the uterus while maintaining continuous protection of the vaginal wall. Practical tips are provided on repositioning retractors, rotating the uterus for better exposure, and handling large fibroids encountered during specimen retrieval. The narration also highlights common technical mistakes and methods to avoid vaginal injury. This is an excellent instructional video for surgeons managing large uteri during minimally invasive hysterectomy.
